I was really saddened by the passing of Robin Williams. I met him in Iraq 10 years ago,and like many others, had a brief 15 minutes with him all to myself. We told no jokes but just had genuine conversation with each other and it felt real. I guess it was. It was Christmas in a war zone. There is nothing superficial about that.
The good guy he was is forever imprinted on me. It crushes me to think that he is gone.
