		<description>I would have to agree with you. There is something about the way things were made in earlier times. The best way for me to describe that &quot;something&quot; is that many things from that era were made to feel good in your hands or to the touch...it was solid, seemed well balanced, and managed to delight your senses somehow. Much of today&#039;s stuff is made with consideration as to how it will ship (some assembly required), or how it will look in a package, and how soon it will break so they can get you to buy a new one. 

Plastics, combined with capitalism,  ruined everything,</description>
