I love Chicago for so many reasons, but one of those reasons is the easy access to being able to see it up close and from high above. This photo was a hand-held shot taken from the Hancock Building observation tower and in the distance you can see the Sears Tower which also has it’s own observation deck.

The other day I stopped by a gym; not to work out but to shoot some real athletes who are training for the octagon. The gym is located in Colorado and trains people in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

I was visiting a museum when I came across a crew trying to salvage a vintage aircraft. They were nice enough to let me cross the protective barrier and snap off a few shots.

I like shooting churches as they are one of the last places in America where they put a little effort into architecture. So many buildings today are built with economy in mind, rather than aesthetics. While I guess this is financially responsible, it has made for one very dull society when speaking about it’s buildings.

This weekend I spent the better part of my Saturday in a church and while milling around the balcony I noticed a bundle of pipe organs that seemed neat in their own way. This bunch was about one of four bundles that made up the entire organ. More pics of the church to follow
