Within china exists many temples and many of them are beautiful…even more so if you are there at the right moment… I think I got this one…

So I apologize for the time in between posts as I have been switching gears and trying to find new avenues for my hobby. I decided to take my first baby shot, and here it is. It was a challenging effort as I had to decapitate the flowers to make the basket, the mother was slightly late, and the flowers wanted to die without their stems…the heat from the lights only made it worse..and the baby was cantankerous without clothes on ( I am too by the way).

In the end it all worked out and I am pleased with the result…there is a black and white version also and I am on the fence over which one i like…but here is the color one…

When people walk around…some people look down to see where they are going and some people look up to see where they are. Once, when I looked up, this is what I saw…

So i was taking a picture of some nachos signs when this ferris wheel was caught in the background…

So this is the second of a series of Grand Canyon shots that I have posted and this one is probably my favorite. It is taken from the south rim and is easily accessible as it was taken at a tourist turn-off along the rim road. I still need to get to the bottom of the canyon for a walkabout… (with my camera of course)
